Australiana grade is a unique, and
increasingly popular conservation grade introduced by Boral Timber. While
every timber floor is uniquely individual, many people are looking for
something even more distinctive; a finished product that stands alone, with
character and style of its own.
A simple timber floor becomes a fascinating story with Australiana grade. Gum veins, spirals, burls and other unusual grain effects, plus the tracks left by forest insects ensure each floor, indeed each board shows a unique slice of forest history.
Natural grade is produced to highlight the random variation of grain. Natural grade includes only the features that will produce a sound floor. The rustic character of burls, knots and range of color will appeal to those who prefer a natural appearance.
Australian Cypress and Heritage Oak are the two species offered by Boral in Natural grade.
